Pedro's Tire Levers
The Professional Choice
Green glass, clear glass, brown glass, safety glass, tacks, nails, staples, chunks of wire, blackberry thorns, goat heads, curbs, railroad ties, sharp rocks, half-pipe coping, and four inch drywall screws are out there waiting for you to roll on over, and no tire is truly puncture "proof." While it may be difficult to spend money on something you'll try to avoid using, when you're by the side of the road on a rainy night listening to the sad hiss of the air escaping from your tire things may feel somewhat different. The Pedro's is the tire lever of choice at both of our shops because of its wide, solid profile and slick material. This lets the lever lift even an extremely stubborn tire, and slide easily along between the bead of the tire and the edge of the rim. When used properly, they can last for years even with daily use or under shop conditions.
-Sold as a pair
-Tail of lever has a double-sided spoke hook to hold your place
-Especially good for stiff (like the Schwalbe Marathons on our bikes) or otherwise difficult tires
